Psoriasis-Ltd III is easy to use and can be applied to any area of the skin. After a healing period of several days, you will begin to a change in the appearance of the affected psoriasis area.
The primary goal in treating psoriasis is to control the itching and reduce inflammation. Treatment of psoriasis is generally based on the sufferer’s age, the severity of their psoriasis condition, and the type of psoriasis they have. Keeping the skin well hydrated is important in the treatment of psoriasis. If itching is severe antihistamines may be considered.
During this transitional healing period during we recommend using only a gentle cleansing bar. We have found three excellent options:
- Dove that has been known for years for use on sensitive skin. Dove can be found worldwide.
- Neutrogena (the transparent facial bar) "dry skin formula - fragrance free" is very good. Neutrogena is available for purchase at most pharmacies and drug stores.
- Noxzema Shaving cream for sensitive skin. It has Dimethicone and is super for sensitive skin. Just use it as you would the above soaps, except you press the button on top to get the soap lather.
Follow the cleansing with Jojoba Oil to soothe, calm, and moisturize the skin. This will enable the skin is to begin to repair itself from the harmful effects of steroids, acids, retinoids, etc.
Reducing the acidic nature of foods in your diet and balancing them with more alkaline based foods and water will also add in the healing of the skin. Simply increasing your water intake can reduce redness and skin irritation.
General instructions for applying Psoriasis-Ltd III: You may apply at any time to any skin area by applying a warm yet comfortable wet washcloth over the affected area for a few seconds to wet or moisten the skin. The Psoriasis-Ltd III disk will dissolve into the affected skin area when it is glided over the skin because the skin is wet. Apply Psoriasis-Ltd III at least two times per day, or as time allows, especially at bedtime. A good time to apply Psoriasis-Ltd III is after a bath or shower when the body is wet and this is especially true if there is a large skin area affected.
For a large area of psoriasis, an application of Psoriasis-Ltd III is made by using a damp wash cloth to dampen the psoriasis area and then apply the Psoriasis-Ltd III by gliding the Psoriasis-Ltd III disk across the dampen psoriasis areas to dissolve a very small 'invisible' application on to the affected area.
For a smaller area, you could dampen a finger and transfer the water to the small psoriasis area with your finger and dampen the skin, and then glide the Psoriasis-Ltd III over the small area to dissolve a small amount of ingredients.
In the smallest areas of psoriasis such as the ear, Psoriasis-Ltd III, may be applied to the ear lobe to address the symptoms of ear psoriasis by applying the ingredients using a wet cotton Q-Tip then glide the moistened Q-Tip over the Psoriasis-Ltd III disk to get a small amount of the ingredients on the Q-Tip swab.
